As a lawyer, I am deeply committed to protecting the rule of law and the basic principles of our democracy. Now more than ever, we must work together to protect our rights, our Constitution, and our democratic values. It is fundamental that no one--not even a President--is above the law. Together we can ensure that the rights of all Virginians are protected and that our elected officials are accountable to the people they represent. As Delegate, I pledge to do both.

At this contentious moment in our nation’s history, I can help do my part to restore civility, trust, and normalcy to our community and to our public discourse. It’s time for a reset.

  • Every citizen should have access to quality healthcare, family planning care, emergency services, and needed medications. These are basic needs and should be available when you need them without breaking the bank. As delegate I will do everything in my power to protect your right to quality and affordable medicine.

  • Access to education is essential for fostering a just and prosperous society. Despite progress, many students still face barriers due to socioeconomic status, race, and geographic location. By prioritizing education access, we can empower all students to reach their full potential and contribute to a more equitable future for our District.

  • Ensuring an affordable cost of living is a top priority. Rising housing costs and everyday necessities have put a strain on households across the state.

While no politician can (or should) promise to fix these issues overnight, what I can promise is that this problem will be front and center for me as I consider each and every policy that the General Assembly proposes, and that I will always consider the direct impact on you—the citizens—before taking action.

  • For those in Chesterfield: I will introduce a bill that will require all localities that have provided recycling services at any time in the past 10 years to restore those services to the citizens. I will work to ensure no locality has the authority to abandon these basic services in the future.
